Ingredients
Orzo
- 2 CUPs orzo pasta
- 8 CUPs chicken broth
- 1/2 CUP white wine (dry)
- 4 TBSP butter (dived)
- 1/2 CUP grated parmesan
- SALT, PEPPER
- Toasted almonds
- Fried sage
Instructions
Orzo
- Toast 1 CUP of orzo for 2 min in 2 TBSP butter
- Toast second cup for 1 min (adding it in batches makes it prettyyy)
- Add ~1TSP salt
- Deglaze with white wine
- Add in warmed broth bit by bit and keep stirring till cooked (~30 min)
- Once done, add in 2TBSP of cubed cold butter to thicken and make creamy
- Add to pretty bowl and top with toasted almonds and fried sage
